Job Requirements: Candidates should have between four and six years of litigation experience. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mid to large law firm, along with experience drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting research, managing traditional and electronic discovery, assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions, and appearing before state and federal courts. Candidates must be in good standing with the CA Bar. Federal clerkship a plus. Practice Summary: Greenberg Traurig's Commercial Litigation Practice is skilled in business dispute litigation and has wide-ranging experience in corporate governance and compliance and with issues which typically arise in business disputes. We have litigated issues of first impression. Our team comprises experienced trial lawyers who understand broad business implications and can draw on the firm's multidisciplinary teams in industries such as financial services, accounting, insurance, real estate, eDiscovery and entertainment to devise creative and efficient strategies. Our client base is diverse, and we regularly represent national and multinational corporations and national and locally based law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, advertising agencies, architectural firms, and artists in disputes, mergers and acquisitions and liquidations, and before regulatory and self-regulatory organizations. The expected pay range for this position is: $250,000-365,000 Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
