With decades of experience in civil lawsuits, business litigation and estate litigation, the Firms litigators often become part of the clients business team and help formulate strategies to avoid future litigation risks.In addition to the defense and prosecution of commercial claims, a significant part of our litigation practice is the representation of individuals and broker-dealers in defense of SEC and self-regulatory organization inquiries, investigations and disciplinary proceedings. We also defend directors and officers of public companies in, among other things, shareholder suits, claims arising from failed transactions and other suits that arise out of their commercial activity. Our litigation lawyers have the breadth of experience and substantive knowledge to navigate such complex matters.Because of the Firms overhead structure, we are able to handle both large and smaller matters in a cost-effective manner.
