Role Description

You will work a typical work schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Flexibility is key, as you'll occasionally work evenings and weekends. Travel is part of the adventure, with all expenses covered by us.

This position requires collaboration with end-users, designers, installation technicians, electrical contractors, and other professionals to implement and commission systems tailored to the needs of each project. Projects will encompass various settings, including but not limited to schools, houses of worship, broadcast studios, museums, and themed entertainment venues. The Master Electrician will collaborate closely with the sales, integration, and installation teams to deliver high-quality and innovative projects and designs to clients. This position reports directly to the Director of Integration.

  • Develop network plans and IP layouts on a per-project basis.
  • Understand and operate within the company design process.
  • Design and maintain schematic layouts for equipment.
  • Label and/or log all equipment configurations, network settings, and hardware identifiers.
  • Create and maintain programming files for control systems, following the functionality guidelines set by the project's designer.
  • Aid in preparation and testing of all equipment in the office prior to installation.
  • Perform on-site work as a technician and commissioning agent.

Requirements

● Working hours are generally 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week, but are governed on a project-by-project basis.

○ After hours and weekend work as required but scheduled in advance.

● This position will require travel on a project-by-project basis.

Preferred qualifications:

Familiarity with software such as Wireless Workbench, Dante Controller, SMAART, LightDesigner, Vectorworks, and generic network scanning tools
