Job Title: Dementia Experienced Live-in Caregiver (CNA, PCA, HHA)Company: Collaborative Home Care Location: Greenwich, CTPay Rate: $261 per daySchedule: 7-Day Live-InJob Description:Collaborative Home Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver with dementia care experience to support an elderly woman. She needs companionship, shower assistance, incontinence care, meal prep, and light housekeeping. This role requires a reliable caregiver with their own vehicle who can drive the client to social activities and errands. Mileage for driving duties will be reimbursed.If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of elderly individuals and meet the requirements listed, we would love to hear from you!Primary Responsibilities:
  • Companionship for dementia client
  • Mobility assistance
  • Incontinence care
  • Assistance with showering
  • Assistance with dressing
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Driving to social activities and errands (Your miles driven will be reimbursed)
Qualifications:
  • A love for the senior community
  • A compassionate and upbeat attitude
  • Strong commitment to reliability and ethical behavior
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
  • Dedication to professional development
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in care giving for seniors
  • Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
  • Possess a Valid Driver's License, access to reliable transportation, Valid Auto Insurance and a good driving record
  • Possess a State ID, and a valid second form of ID, such as a Social Security Card, Passport, or Birth Certificate
  • Eligible to work in the United States for any employer
  • Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Our Caregivers are responsible for providing hands-on, non-medical, quality care to clients of Collaborative Home Care.
  • Caregivers provide care based on the plan of care for their clients, which includes activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, medication reminders)
  • Companion care (e.g. conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping).
  • Caregivers must be able to work with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for the maintenance of a professional relationship with the client in accordance with Collaborative Home Care policies and standards.
