This position is responsible for providing personal assistance to residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living.
Job Description
* Scheduling: Coordinating client visits and matching them with staff availability. This can include admission visits and supervisory visits. Printing off and distributing schedules.
* Communication: Acting as the point of contact between caregivers and families, and responding to calls.
* Compliance: Ensuring that home care services comply with company policies and procedures.
* Documentation: Monitoring and documenting care issues.
* Office duties: Performing general office duties, such as understanding and adhering to policies and procedures, and working toward continuous quality improvement.
* On-call: Being on-call to ensure that all clients are cared for 24/7.
* Provide client care as needed.
* Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
* Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
* Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Qualifications
Level of Formal Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Area of Study: General Education
Years of Experience: 0-1+ years
Type of Experience: General patient care in a care facility or in a home situation.
Language Skills: The ability to understand and speak the English language.
Personal Attributes: Patience and compassion for the elderly.
