We have an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as a Mental Health Counselor or Social Worker for our brand new six-bed Residence that offers a safe place for the stabilization of mental health symptoms and a range of person-centered trauma informed services to support participants. This is a short term stay facility that serves participants for up to 28 days as they prepare to transition back to the community. You will make significant impact on advancing this comprehensive specialty care residence and provide meaningful support to the team.

Position will be available October 21, 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapeutic counseling to participants.
- Help create individualized participant service plans.
- Engage in program development and case planning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners.
- Provide crisis intervention to participants.
- Provide linkages to relevant counseling services and assist participants in their transition to the community.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet participant needs.
- Provide accompaniment, support and advocacy as needed.
- Participate in rotating on-call system.
- Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Requirements:
LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC (supervision provided) and 2-4 years prior Master's level experience providing individual therapeutic counseling. Previous Experience working with mental health or substance abuse clients is preferred. Must have reliable transportation and a Valid NYS Driver License.
