JOB TITLE: Community and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) Other Licensed Professional (OLP)/ Behavioral Health Clinician

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME ( Supervisory), Part time, Per- Diem options available

SALARY: Full Time 80k-90k, Part Time/Per Diem $65-75 Hourly

LOCATION: Multiple /Vacancies available

Overview: Our client is a leading provider of home and community-based services, dedicated to enhancing lives through compassionate care and innovative programs: Our CFTSS program is a community based behavioral health program available to youth under the age of 21 receiving Medicaid. These services are provided within the individuals home and community to support individuals as well as their entire family. OLP Providers are responsible for providing a high quality, culturally sensitive, specialized program to help foster and manage healthy behavioral patterns designed to help youth and families gain the necessary tools to be successful through goal directed supports and solution-based interventions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

o Clinical assessment and diagnosis: Utilize evidence-based practices and tools to conduct assessments on individuals on individuals and provide diagnoses as appropriate

o Facilitate individual or group treatment to individuals and families in accordance with their treatment plan and needs

o Provide crisis intervention services, risk assessment, safety planning, and follow up as per assigned on-call schedule

o Participate in community outreach and partnership development to promote Our client's services

o Advocate for the best interests of client and ensure that their voices are heard

o Offer opportunities to better meet the behavioral health needs at earlier junctures in a child/ youth's life to prevent onset or progression of behavioral health conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

  • Valid and Current NYS Clinical License: Licensed Psychiatrist/Psychologist/Psychoanalyst, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting

  • Strong knowledge of OMH regulations and evidence-based practices

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

o Strong organizational, and communicational skills

o Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

o Commitment to culture competence and experience working with diverse populations

o Experience in treatment of adolescents or young adults

o Strong diagnostic and treatment skills

o Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a highly collaborative manner and strong problem-solving abilities
