Construction equipment operators drive, maneuver, or control the heavy machinery used to construct roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures. A loader operator uses the front end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or dumps and spreads material on site.
GENERAL EXPECTATIONSAll employees shall commit to Crisdel's team effort driven process by contributing to the safe and successful completion of the work assigned to them by their foreman. Individuals are also expected to:

- Maintain a positive working relationship between co-workers and employees of subcontractors, vendors, inspectors and agency individuals working on a Crisdel job site.

- Be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Report to work on time, take meal breaks only during the allocated time periods and report back to work until the end of the designated shift.
JOB DESCRIPTION - Perform a basic equipment inspection to ensure that the functions properly
- Report malfunctions to supervisors
- Drive and maneuver equipment
- Coordinate actions with crew members in response to hand or audio signals
- Ensure that safety standards are met
- Perform incidental work items and duties included within other crafts
- Overtime and weekend work may be required.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat andhumidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
- Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.
QUALIFICATIONS - High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees
- 3-5 years or more of industry related experience is required for this position, with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges
- Must demonstrate the ability to operate the loader.

- Valid driver's license issued within the United States clear of multiple and/or major violations.
