Title: Loadout Classification/Job Grade: Hourly Location: Oak Park, MI Department: Shipping Supervised by: Supervisor Job Summary: Our Loadout position is fun and fast paced. This is a critical role for our Oak Park branch to ensure we get product to our customers, timely. This job requires someone who enjoys working closely with others and can communicate effectively. We are looking for individuals who don't mind working hard, they will move and load product for our customers. This is a very physical position - you won't need a gym! Since 1938, we have been producing high quality products for you and your family. Must be willing to work the hours of 9pm to 8am Sunday night - Fri morning. This position pays $21.63 an hour plus a $2.00 an hour additional shift differential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Executes warehouse department orders and packaging of shipments
- Pulls stacks of product from refrigerated trailer and/or pallets
- Load stacks of product onto refrigerated route trucks
- Hi-low forklift experience or switcher experience preferred
- Maintains loadout dock clean
- Keeps inventory of stacks/cases and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily load sheet
- Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- Accurately completes required documentation
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
- Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas
- Demonstrates problem solving and decision-making ability, as needed
- Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn
- Other duties as assigned or required
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience Maintaining loadout dock
- 1+ year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma- or GED
