With over $600 million in assets, Southwest Georgia Farm Credit is a cooperative and part of the nationwide Farm Credit System.Job DescriptionThe Loan Administrator maintains adequate oversight of all loan closing activities. This includes performing all phases of loan closing activity, from the initial preparation and gathering of closing documentation, through the final stages of uploading the data into the Association's loan system and verifying for accuracy. Required QualificationsEducation and/or experience equivalent to an Associate Degree in Business, Finance or AccountingHighly organized and motivated with an adaptive attitude of teamwork and quality workmanshipStrong analysis, judgment, and communications (oral & written) skills Ability to work independently, to be assertive and decisive in arriving at sound business decisions Proficient in technology Must have demonstrated aptitude in dealing effectively with the publicAbility to organize and prioritize work in order to efficiently handle projects and activitiesWorking hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Preferred QualificationsThree years of related loan administrative work experience with at least two years in a customer service-related fieldKnowledge of operations and appraisals
