We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Loan Operations Specialist to join our banking team. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient processing of loans and letters of credit while maintaining compliance with banking regulations and internal procedures. You will play a key part in supporting our credit department and enhancing our operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process loan applications and letters of credit, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Conduct initial assessments of creditworthiness by gathering and analyzing relevant financial data.
- Maintain and update credit files and databases to ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan products and application status, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the timely approval and processing of credit requests.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor existing credit accounts for compliance and risk assessment, flagging any potential issues.
- Assist the credit team with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in loan operations, banking, or financial services is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with loan processing software is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
