Job Description:

Properly inputs all loan data into the bank's computer system including new loans, loan payments, loan advances, loan maintenance, loan participation, etc. and retains supporting documentation. Assist with the daily activities of DFS. Assist customers and officers with loan questions and finding information on the computer system. Records UCCs and ensures renewals are kept current. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Input all loan data into the bank's computer system for all locations.
  • Input all loan participation data into the bank's computer system and work with participating banks to ensure they are notified of changes to the loan.
  • Responsible for tracking all original notes for all locations.
  • Assist customers and officers with loan questions and researching pertinent information in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • File all UCCs and monitor continuations for all locations.
  • Review all loan reports and distribute them to the proper area. Use loan reports to properly account for the bank's loans.
  • Track collateral vault keys for Blair, assist others in getting into the collateral vault, and ensure the collateral vault receipts and safekeeping receipts are kept current and accurate.
  • Backup the DFS participation process from start to finish ensuring new volume is booked accurately & in a timely manner.
  • Provide Senior Management with daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Be a team player in assuring the loan processing area is run smoothly.
  • Required to adhere to all compliance policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.
  • Requirements Minimum Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED
    • 1-3 years banking experience
    • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
    • Ability to relate to customers in a courteous and professional manner
    • Ability to produce accurate results
    • Detail oriented
    Desirable Requirements
    • 1-3 years direct experience in loan processing and/or loan programming
    • Understanding of applicable software
    • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
    • Quick learner
