POSITION OVERVIEW Assists in the loan process by ordering documents needed to complete the files, updating information on the computer system and tracking current insurance coverage on loan collateral in accordance with the bank's policy and procedures and in compliance with pertinent regulatory requirements. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates a commitment to achieve goals as a bank, department and individual
- Answers incoming phone calls and resolves customer inquires
- Processes payments, advances, accrual adjustments and payoffs
- Prepares payoff letters and department invoices
- Completes file maintenance on loans
- Processes payment corrections and revises billing statements
- Logs bankruptcy notices and returned mail. Distributes to lenders
- Completes and returns verification of mortgage requests
- Order appraisals and reviews
- Works with lending staff and attorneys/title companies to resolve file exceptions
- Responsible for compliance with all bank policies and Federal and State Banking laws and regulations
- Assists with data collection and reporting for loan support projects and audits
- Prepares documents and releases of mortgages
- Processes collateral releases and sends customer repaid loan documents
- Escrow analysis disbursements for taxes and/or insurance
- Performs survey of competitors' interest rates
- Scans loan files into electronic format
- Performs other duties as assigned
