Loan Servicing Specialist

About Us:CFS has partnered with a local non-profit organization that is searching for a detail-oriented loan servicing specialist to support our commercial lending operations. This role involves documentation review, client communications, and audit assistance. You will report to the Senior Directors of Loan Servicing and Treasury within our remote-first organization.
Key Responsibilities- Process and deliver loan confirmations with precision, managing borrower and auditor communications while maintaining strict documentation standards.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of loan documentation and system entries, verifying accuracy and ensuring proper digital filing protocols.
- Create detailed client loan onboarding documentation by analyzing and interpreting complex credit and loan agreements, and preparing summary sheets for senior management.
- Research and resolve escalated customer service matters through systematic investigation and clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support departmental audit processes and contribute to special projects as assigned by senior leadership.
Required Qualifications- Proven experience with commercial lending and commercial real estate documentation.
- Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects and maintain attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in professional business correspondence.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Background in loan servicing or commercial banking operations.
- Experience in audit support or compliance-related functions.
