We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Syndication and Sales Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of corporate finance and loan syndication. The successful candidate will contribute to research analysis, syndication strategy development, and the preparation of client-facing materials, including pitch decks and proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Analysis:
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and potential investment opportunities.
• Gather and analyze financial data, credit information, and market reports to support decision-making.
• Prepare detailed research reports and summaries to inform syndication strategies.
Syndication Strategy:
• Collaborate with the syndication team to develop and implement strategies for loan distribution.
• Assist in structuring loan syndication deals, including assessing market demand and investor appetite.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of syndicated loans and provide actionable insights.
Pitch Preparation:
• Support the preparation of pitch books and presentation materials for potential clients and investors.
• Assist in drafting compelling value propositions tailored to specific client needs
.• Ensure all pitch materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with the company's branding and messaging standards.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with internal teams, including credit, legal, and compliance, to facilitate syndication processes.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and loan structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Prior internship or coursework related to corporate finance, investment banking, or loan syndication.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools.
• Strong interest in financial markets and corporate lending.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary is $90,000.00. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
