Job Description:
Hiring Range: Minimum $ 19.64 to Mid $24.13Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for selling and cross-selling Credit Union services to current and potential members. Credit Union services are to be promoted using the member benefit-based approach .
  • Fully complies with the requirements of all Credit Union policies, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and OFAC
  • Reviews consumer loans for compliance with credit union policies, procedures and underwriting guidelines.
  • Performs quality control on a sample of consumer loans according to guidelines.
  • Identifies exceptions to guidelines and notates in core operating system.
  • Reviews and complies reports with loan exceptions for internal correspondence.
  • Responsible for reviewing loans to ensure all required signed documents are present.
  • Reviews loss mitigation options provided to members to ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
  • Performs a monthly review of the Metric2 report and corrects any fatal errors.
  • Identifies loans with negative balances and addresses issue as necessary.
  • Responsible for reviewing lines of credit to determine ongoing credit limit eligibility.
  • Reviews debt to income report and addresses any discrepancies.
  • Communicates with SRP staff and/or members to inform them of various loan discrepancies.
  • Performs necessary file maintenance as needed.
  • Receives and sorts loan documents from various departments within the credit union.
  • Identifies loan documents not received in a timely manner and communicates issues with booking officer.
  • Reviews non-amortization report and identifies issues.
  • Responsible for reviewing loan file maintenance performed and addressing any discrepancies.
  • May be assigned other tasks by appropriate line
Supervisory Responsibilities:There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.Other Skills:
  • Basic experience, knowledge and training in lending activities, terminology, products and services.
  • Ability to meet regulatory deadlines with a sense of urgency while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook Email /Calendar and Internet Explorer software. Experience with Meridian Link or equivalent consumer loan software preferred.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers, touch or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to twenty-five pounds. Regularly required to listen and interpret information received through spoken words and sentences in person and by the phone and accessed via the computer. Regularly required to communicate information and ideas so others will understand both in person, on the phone and via the computer. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
