Due to continued growth, we are hiring Local CDL A Shuttle Truck Driver LCV Permit within 45 miles of Rome, NY.Compensation
- Starting salary is $80,000 per year, plus the following:
- Annual reviews, potential pay increases based on performance.
- Annual Holiday and Safety bonuses, based on performance.
- $100 for every LCV run (approximately 3 x's per week/$15,000 per year)
- Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week.
- Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, no weekends.
- Typically start 5pm, typically work 9-10 hours per day, work until work is completed.
- One week of paid training in Rome, NY; all expenses reimbursed.
- Shuttle runs within 250-miles, out and back 1-2 times per day.
- Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Drive day cab with doubles: 28' pup or 40' dry van trailers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of CDL A experience in the past 10 years.
- Must hold LCV (Longer Combination Vehicle) permit, or be willing to obtain.
- Doubles endorsement required.
- Hazmat preferred. Must be willing to obtain upon hire.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes endorsement.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
