Position Details:
- Pay: $26.50 per hour + OT after 40 hours
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, with occasional layover (once a week)
- Work Hours: Early morning start times to avoid traffic in major cities
- Freight: Hauling palletized industrial goods in dry van trailers
- No-touch freight
- Drop and hook deliveries to local warehouses
- Yard Jockey Work: Drivers may occasionally jockey trailers around the yard after completing driving assignments (using an automatic jockey truck with hydraulic wheel)
- Potential Driving Areas: CT, VA, NJ, PA (back and forth between local warehouses)
Requirements:
- Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no tickets or accidents in the last 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Must be 25 years or older
- Tanker endorsement is a plus (helpful for hauling liquids in totes but not required for driving)
- Strong work history and safety record
