Local CDL A Truck Driver | Gettysburg, PA | $27/Hour + OT + BenefitsTransForce is hiring full-time CDL A drivers in Gettysburg, PA for local delivery routes. This position offers competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and consistent schedules.
Position Highlights:- Pay: $27 per hour with overtime after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday - Saturday (drivers work 5 days per week)
- Start time: Between 12:00 AM - 3:00 AM
- Shift Length: 9-12 hours per day
- Routes: Local deliveries covering PA, NJ, DE, and MD
- Freight: Eggs delivered to grocery stores and distribution centers
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a reefer trailer (preloaded with palletized or rolling rack products)
- Deliver products in the order of store stops (8 stops per day on average)
- Unload using pallet jacks or roll-off carts
- Safely operate equipment while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
Requirements:- CDL License: Valid Class A CDL
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year CDL A driving experience required
- MVR: Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
