ApplyJob TypePart-timeDescriptionThe CDL City Driver/Forklift Operator makes local pickups utilizing tractor trailer, dry vans, reefers, and tankers. Also spots trailers, unloads tankers, and operates a forklift to support production. This is a part-time position that reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.Monday through Friday - 20 hours/weekEssential Duties and Responsibilities:* Pickup local loads and spot trailers of raw materials to support production* Unload bulk tankers of ingredients outside - utilizing valves, pumps, and hoses* Maintain clean vehicle and work areas* Report any errors or problems immediately and effectively* Accurately complete and document the company's standard operating procedures (SOP)* Accurately record hours worked and driver log sheets* Adhere to quality and safety standards* Other duties and projects as assigned - varies daily based on production and warehouse needsRequirementsQualifications:* Class A CDL and tanker endorsement required* Valid DOT medical card* Driving experience preferred* Ability to read and write English to understand instructions and prioritize assignments* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred* Cooperation: Ability to work alone driving, as a team member in the warehouse, or both in the same shift* Reasoning: Ability to understand flow of materials through a production and warehouse facility, both physically and in the system, and the impacts from any deviation of procedure. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations* Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as neededPay:* Dependent on Experience
