Hiring Local CDL Class A Truck Drivers:
Calo & Sons Construction, Tia Marie Trucking and Antonio's Towing and Recovery are hiring!
- We are looking for experienced gravel train, short double, lead and low boy drivers.
- This is a regular, full-time, year-round, local company driver position.
- The driver will be responsible for submitting completed paperwork and haul gravel, sand, dirt, and other aggregates or hauling heavy and/ or oversized equipment.
Qualifications:
- Driver's License. (Required)
- CDL A. (Required)
- Doubles/Triples Endorsement. (Required for Gravel Train)
- Have or be able to obtain a DOT medical card. (Required)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen.
- 2 years experience with CDL-A driving for this industry.
Responsibilities Include:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck, hauling gravel, sand, dirt, and concrete.
- Properly track and document activity log.
- Inspect truck before and after trip.
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
- Safe and skilled maneuverability and backing.
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers and customers in a professional manor.
Schedule:
- Home daily.
