Location: Siler City Center, North Carolina Contract Length: 9 Weeks Pay Rate: $1,100 - $1,207.72 per week Shift Details: Day Shift Includes working every other weekend Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 9-week contract position at Siler City Center in North Carolina. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN will deliver efficient and effective nursing care while ensuring positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Patient Evaluation: Assess and evaluate patients/residents, gather data, observe conditions, and report any changes to the RN or physician. Care Planning: Collaborate with the healthcare team to contribute to nursing assessments and assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans. Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and perform treatments per physician's orders. Supervision: Oversee and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring adherence to care protocols. Documentation: Accurately document patient care, assessments, and any changes in condition in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Current and valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina. Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred. Proficient in assessment, medication administration, and care planning. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise unlicensed staff.
