A & A Services is seeking a local contract Medical Assistant for a local contract job in Waltham, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Medical Assistant Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/04/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract • JOB TYPE: MA MA - Internal Medicine Practice in Waltham MA - 40 hours/week M-F. Busy Primary Care practice MA will be administrative while also assuming regular MA responsibilities, rooming patients, taking vitals, EKGs, prior authorizations, patient education Certification required & BLS required. Medical Assistant Certification required COVID Vaccines Booster and 2024-2025 flu vaccine required at time of submission (declinations not accepted). If candidate does not have current flu vaccine we will accept an attestation stating they will receive it prior to start BILH cover sheet required Local candidates within 25 miles Required Cannot have worked perm/travel for any Beth Israel facility within the past year. CONTRACT DURATION: 11/04/2024 – 02/01/2025 GUARANTEED HOURS: 40 hours per week REQUIREMENTS: • Must not have worked in any permanent or travel position with the client facility in the past year. • Full documentation for onboarding and compliance must be submitted promptly.
