WCS Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to join their team at a pediatric clinic. This leadership role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families while managing a dynamic healthcare team.Job Function:Lead the planning, development, organization, implementation and evaluation of the neighborhood tofacilitate a child and family-centered environment that promotes the theme of children come first .Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct nursing programs and activities.Knows and enforces infection control policies and procedures.Assure that staff schedules are consistent with the resident needs and provide the accountability ofestablished standards of care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Review clinical services policies, procedures, manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually, andparticipate in making and implementing recommended changes.Facilitate identification of neighborhood quality concern and/or issue for study and improvement. Providefollow up and corrective action for audits (including medication errors, quality audits, medical recordaudits, mock survey etc.)Ensure all purchase requisitions and purchase orders are properly prepared, signed and submitted asrequired. In collaboration with neighborhood staff, ensure adequate and appropriate par levels of suppliesand linen.Job Requirements:Minimum five (5) years RN experience with at least two years in a supervisory3 years of Management/Supervisory experience.3 year clinical experience in a pediatric and/or adolescent chronic /rehabilitative carefacility.PICU or Pediatric Step-Down experience preferred.Education Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in nursing or related field required.Master's Degree preferred.New York State Nursing License & NYS RN Registration Certificate.Current BLS Certification.Current Certified Pediatric Nursing Certification (PNCB) -preferred.Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
