Responsibilities include: - Triaging patients for acute/sick concerns via phone - Providing patient education - Scheduling for SDS visits or referring to urgent care/ED when appropriate - Collaborating with providers and various members of the practice to maximize patient care outcomes - Types of calls include URIs, rashes, GI related concerns, UTIs, vaginal bleeding, falls, orthopedic related concerns (knee pain, back pain) - Looking for candidates with effective and strong communication skills, great with time-management, team player and able to work independently, empathetic, flexible, strong at navigating EHR while talking to patients on the phone - On average, nurses perform anywhere from 40-60 callbacks per day.
