- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications
- EOW, EOH;
- Prefer 2 years of recent ED experience in larger ED dept
- Position is 7a-7:30P/11a-11:30p combo shifts
- May need to float to sites within 40 miles
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of RN Telemetry experience.
- Two years of current RN Emergency Room experience
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered RN New York state license
- One year of Epic experience
