Compensation : $75.34 - $75.34 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-9776|AH-HHC-25441 Start Date : 08/14/2023 Security Clearance : None Primary Skill : EPIC,PROBLEM-SOLVING,HEALTHCARE,PATIENT CARE,RN,TELEMETRY,CARDIOVASCULAR Department: Emergency Department Shift Timing: Morning Shift 07:00 - 19:30 Hours Roles & Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • EOW, EOH;
  • Prefer 2 years of recent ED experience in larger ED dept
  • Position is 7a-7:30P/11a-11:30p combo shifts
  • May need to float to sites within 40 miles
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of RN Telemetry experience.
  • Two years of current RN Emergency Room experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
  • Active unencumbered RN New York state license
  • One year of Epic experience
