Job SummaryLake Welding Supplies is looking for a Local Delivery Driver to join our team! As a Local Delivery Driver, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering welding supplies and industrial gases to our clients. Responsibilities
- 1 Year of delivery driving experience required
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
- Follow route and schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., straight truck and tractor trailer
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers
