Local Kitchens is a Micro Food Hall that lets guests mix and match from popular regional restaurants, all in one order! We are helping our guests enjoy their favorite foods more conveniently, and bringing high-quality food options to families in every neighborhood. To support our rapidly expanding operations, we are building a team of Brand Ambassadors to be the smiling face of Local Kitchens in the communities we serve. Our Brand Ambassadors come from all different backgrounds. This would be a flexible, part-time position. About the Role Local Kitchens participates in multiple community events, from Farmers Markets, to 5Ks, to local sponsorship opportunities. The Brand Ambassador role will be responsible for primarily sampling within walking distance of the kitchen. On occasion there will be other opportunities to support in other external community events. Requirements
- People Person - You love chatting with all kinds of people.
- Communication - You wow guests with great conversations and can get a point across.
- Strong Work Ethic - You are reliable and willing to learn something new every day.
- Valid Drivers License and/or Form of Transportation - must be able to get to work in a reliable way.
- Current ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience as an ambassador, in retail, or hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Participate in local Food Sampling by passing out flyers and food samples.
- Function as an educator and subject matter expert on all things Local Kitchens for community members and potential new guests.
- Assist as needed with larger store events, such as launch parties, 2nd Friday Art About, and VIP tastings.
- Willingness to learn how to cook the basic sampling menu!
