Job Title: Local OTR Driver
Department: Operations
Location: Williston, ND
Remote Status: Onsite
Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly. Home every night . Overtime is available and expected.
Annual Compensation Potential: $90000-105000

Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL with tanker, hazmat, and airbrakes required.
Job Summary Hauling oil field chemicals between ND and MT (Williston, Miles City, Dickinson, Minot). Follows all DOT/FMCSA regulations.
Essential Duties - other duties as assigned
- Maintain driver's logs, according to DOT regulations
- Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures)
- Follow all FMCSA regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
- Properly load and secure, and unload trucks (tanker and flatbed)
- Accurately complete bills of lading (BOL's) and other reports according to company policy
- Maintain accurate inventory reports according to company policy
- Timely completion of reports and documentation
- Work well independently and as a team
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications Education/Experience: High school graduate or GED. 1-3 years in oil and gas industry preferred.
Physical Requirements - Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin. Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Work Environment - Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation, and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Bakken. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
Computer Skills - Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets and programs such as MS Business Central for recording daily deliveries.
