The primary purpose of this position Local Public Health Administrator is the administration and management of public health programs within the Health Education Division, and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) at the Harnett County Department of Public Health. This position also serves on and assists in the administration of the HCHD Child Fatality Prevention Local Team. This position serves as the Accreditation Coordinator, (AC) for the agency, which is responsible for the implementation /coordination of the accreditation process in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This position assists in the development of various plans, assessments, initiatives, and reports executed by HCHD. Those include but are not limited to the Community Health Assessment, State of the County Report, and Community Health Improvement Plan.
