Welder- Irvine, CA (Must be within 25 miles of Irvine)
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will work on various welding projects, including assembling and repairing metal components, using a range of welding techniques. While formal certification is not required, a solid understanding of welding processes and safety practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using Stick welding on a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, and other power tools to fit and assemble metal components according to blueprints, specifications, or verbal instructions.
- Conduct routine inspections of welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and reinforce weak areas of metal structures.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder, either through hands-on work or on-the-job training.
- Basic knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Good physical condition and stamina for working in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending).
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of tools and equipment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with operating grinders, saws, and other metalworking tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of metal properties and proper handling techniques.
