AGRILAND FS, a financially strong cooperative serving customers in a growing geography, is looking for a dynamic leader in operations, business and agriculture to fill the role of location manager. The right individual will develop and manage a team to drive the business goals of a growing agronomy and energy retail facility, while taking advantage of the opportunity for career growth through continuing education and professional development. Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational function and team at assigned facility
- Lead facility in achieving CTO goals by improving efficiency, developing people and offering premier customer service
- Utilize CTO to make business decisions
- Dispatches product and services to meet the needs of customers
- Recruit & develop team members to improve operations and reduce turnover
- Schedule maintenance of facility and equipment
- Maintain inventory and facilitate distribution of products
- Supervise both full-time and part-time operations personnel; lead team meetings
- Assist in determining location asset needs and developing the location budget
- Collaborate with Operations Manager on all safety and compliance issues and other locations to improve business efficiencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related field or 5 years experience in management
- Management experience must include examples of the development of others, business improvement and customer engagement
- Understanding of basic business principles of inventory and expense control
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Needs to understand and be able to learn to operate all equipment at facility
- Exhibits solid organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience in leading safety and business improvement strategies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsements
