Program details: 20 ICU beds Montefiore Nyack is a level III Trauma center and a certified stroke center Medical and surgical ICU patient Mix Adult/Peds: 100%/0% EMR: Epic Some of the specialty cases are post-cardiac cath, Trauma, Neurosurgery, Vascular surgery, Thoracic surgery, OB&GYN, and Ortho. DAYS – APP coverage from 8 am to 6 pm and 24/7 in-house Intensivist Full and Temp Privileges are available Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants must have critical care experience APPs need to be highly comfortable with high acuity patients/procedures including but not limited to central lines, arterial lines, and HD cath placement APPs can be assigned 10 patients APP responds to code blue with intensivist APPS lead rounds on their own patients and the intensivist will serve as a resource Click apply for immediate consideration.
