Details Client NameVeterans evaluation services - Shepherdsville Job TypeTravel OfferingLocums ProfessionPhysician SpecialtyGeneral Medicine Job ID30016568 Job TitleLocum - Physician - General Medicine KY Weekly Pay$10476.0 Shift Details ShiftDay - 12x3 - 07AM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date01/27/2025 End Date04/28/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job DescriptionJob Title: Physician Job Specialty: General Medicine Job Duration: 13 Months Shift: Days, PRN - as needed basis Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Active and unrestricted full license in Kentucky Certifications: Board Certified, Board Eligible Must-Have: Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)Job Description: - Seeking General Medicine Providers to perform compensation pension exams and separation health assessments. - Provide services within a 50-mile radius of personal office locations. - Required locations include Grayson, Ashland, Campbellsville, Pineville, and Paducah with specific days per week needed at each. - Work on an as-needed basis, with the option to schedule veterans within your own practice. - Conduct one-time, non-treatment exams and complete separation health assessments. - Exams are mostly interview-based with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing. - No prescribing or treatment involved. - Quick onboarding process with training provided for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires. - Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required. - Proficient in METs testing, and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions required. - Use of Goniometer required. - Complete and submit evaluations and DBQs within 48 hours after exam completion. - Follow-up administrative work may include addendums, medical opinions, and reviewing diagnostics. - Must be willing to complete DMA training to become certified (CME credits available). - Participate in a 2-3 hour PEP session/training before starting, to learn system navigation and receive guidance for initial evaluations. - Eventually, upon request, may travel to other areas to assist with cases. - Should be able to respond to termination notices within 48 hours.
