**Job Title:** Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiologist**Job Specialty:** Anesthesiology - Cardiac**Job Duration:** Full-Time**Shift:** Varied; 8, 10, 12-hour shifts + On-call**Guaranteed Hours:** Information not specified**Experience:** Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Anesthesia**License:** New York License (or willing to obtain)**Certifications:** ECHO Board Certified and/or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained, BLS, ACLS, PALS (by time of start)**Must-Have:** - Willingness to work across multiple campuses.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.- Open to H-1B visa candidates.**Job Description:**- Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.- Work at a high-volume inpatient heart center.- Collaborate closely with a team of cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients.- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of anesthesia protocols and practices within the institute.- Assist in handling cardiac and vascular cases, with no involvement in obstetric or trauma cases.- Be part of a call rotation of 1:5, with first call every eighth night, with no second call.- Work primarily with adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases.- Not required to supervise CRNAs.- Participate in a well-established and reputable practice known for providing compassionate care for over forty years.**Note:** The organization does not accept J-1 waivers or Locums candidates.
