**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** Non-Invasive Cardiology**Job Duration:** 13 Months**Shift:** Days - Clinic rotation: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with shared on-call duties**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Oregon license required or willingness to obtain**Certifications:** - Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Board Certified in Cardiology**Must-Have:** - Fellowship training in Cardiology - Ties to Oregon, such as family in the area or previous residency**Job Description:**- Provide cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings- Participate in clinic rotations, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM- Share responsibility for Echo call rotation, including readings on weekends- Conduct evaluations, management services, and interpret various cardiology diagnostics: EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, Stress Echocardiography, Holter/Event Monitor, Cardioversion, and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE)- Collaborate with other medical specialties to maintain standards and practices of care- Examine, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of cardiac diseases- Perform patient examinations, obtaining records of medical history, and assessing subjective and objective findings- Use risk calculators and stay updated with new studies, technology, and medications for patient benefit- Interpret data for diagnosis and develop therapeutic plans- Administer prescribed medications and comply with state laws and practice guidelines- Order and perform appropriate medical procedures following state law practice guidelines- Educate patients and families on medications and treatments, illness prevention, and healing, and recommend community resources- Maintain and review patient records, documenting clearly and concisely- Triage patient calls and provide consultations as needed- Document patient care within the electronic medical record and ensure timely and accurate billing- Participate in meetings and assist in policy formation for cardiology practices- Stay current with Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities, meet organizational CME requirements, maintain board certification, and comply with hospital rules and continuing privileges without restriction- Ensure licenses and certifications are current and unrestricted- Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, physicians, and administration- Maintain quality clinical practice and select avenues for professional growth- Ensure regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates- Not accepting locum candidates**Compensation and Benefits:**- Competitive salary based on experience and training- Potential sign-on bonus and relocation assistance- Medical, dental, and vision plans- Flexible spending accounts- Basic life/ADD term insurance- Short- and long-term disability- Retirement plans including defined contribution and deferred compensation options- Tuition reimbursement- Paid time off with options for cash-out- Extended sick leave and paid leave for bereavement or jury duty- Employee assistance program- Affordable childcare- Voluntary insurance options- Telehealth services- On-site wellness clinic and fitness center with health club membership discounts- Wellness program with incentives- Legal services, identity theft protection, and cell phone discounts- Opportunities for professional growth
