A hospital-based facility with a clinic is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.With hundreds of miles of trails, a conveniently located ski resort, and some of the best rock climbing and whitewater rafting on the East Coast, adventure is all around in Southern West Virginia.This role is for a board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist with an active West Virginia or IMLC license. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rounding every morning. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the physician will supervise tests in the hospital in the morning, followed by afternoon clinic, while Tuesday and Thursday are dedicated to all-day clinic. The call schedule includes nights and weekends. Responsibilities include general cardiology duties, reading all cardiac studies (EKGs, nuclear tests, stress tests, and echocardiograms), and supervising hospital tests.
