Requirements Seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our collegial team.Position annual volume with 10-15 pediatric cases12 all private treatment rooms24 hours of physician coverage with 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverageBC/BE in EM MD or DO and EM residency trainedPALS certificationCandidates must communication skillsExpertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergenciesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skillsFACILITY INFORMATIONMethodist ER Converse is Methodist Hospital Northeast's newest extension of 24/7 emergency care. Open 365 days a year the new 12650-square-foot freestanding emergency center features 12 all-private treatment rooms and a full range of services such full-service laboratory and telemetrySpecific on-site diagnostic equipment will include: 64-slice CT scanner dedicated x-ray suite ultrasound and telemetry equipmentImmediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical with quick transfer capabilities to any Methodist Healthcare facility24-hour monitoring and testing of patients such as chest pain casesUse of a Picture Archiving Communications System PACS to allow staff to electronically transmit any diagnostic image from the Methodist ER Converse to any Methodist credentialed physician's office specialist or any Methodist hospital emergency room for seamless follow-up
