**Job Title:** Locum Gastroenterology Physician**Job Specialty:** Gastroenterology**Job Duration:** October 2024 - December 2024**Shift:** Call coverage required; weekends primarily (e.g., Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Board Certified/Board Eligible**License:** Current State Medical License**Certifications:** DEA/CSR Requirements**Must-Have:** ERCP/EUS proficiency for GI emergencies**Job Description:**- Provide Locums coverage to fill gaps in the GI call schedule.- Call coverage required for 24 hours each day, including weekends.- Primarily cover Parham and Forest locations only.- Perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS.- Manage both inpatient and outpatient consultations.- Collaborate with support staff for charting and dictation using Meditech EMR.- Possible transition to Expanse EMR system soon.- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.- Work collaboratively with local providers for outpatient procedure bookings.- Maintain open communication with healthcare team members for optimal patient care.- Participate in ongoing efforts to find a permanent staffing solution.
