We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Alton, IL. This position offers the chance to work in a hospital-based setting, providing high-quality care to inpatients in a collaborative environment.This position requires the physician to work Tuesday through Monday, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Specific open dates will be listed in the job order. Weekend coverage is required. There are no on-call requirements for this role.As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care for hospitalized patients. Duties include admission, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning. You will work closely with nursing staff and other medical professionals to ensure optimal care and patient outcomes.Qualifications
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
- Active Illinois state medical license is required; no exceptions.
