A short-term acute care facility is seeking a physician for locum tenens coverage.While on assignment in Central Ohio, visit the Columbus Museum of Art, Ohio History Center, Columbus Zoo, or Topiary Park!This inpatient, hospital-based position involves 95% inpatient care with 90% of cases being adult and 10% pediatric (ages 16+). The role includes daily or weekend call, call-back coverage, and outpatient EEG review. Providers may encounter trauma cases like gunshot wounds or hypothermia depending on the day, with a maximum of 8 hospital-based patients per day. The team consists of 14 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers, with support from onsite labs, X-ray facilities, and EPIC for documentation. Remote EEG monitoring is available but considered essential for this role.
