Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology - $3,300 to $3,900 per day in Jackson, MI

OneStaff Locums has a client in Jackson MI looking for a provider to help cover shifts starting in January 2025.

To get started – is as easy as 1, 2, 3

Compensation – Rates posted are suggested. Rates will be submitted at providers request.

Requirements –

• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• MI License - REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
• Must have clean background- REQUIRED

Schedule –

• variable, 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week- clinic, call, and hospital.

Duties

• • Dates of Coverage: Q1, Q2 2025
  • Schedule: Variable, 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Practice Setting: Clinic, Call, and Hospital.
  • Reason for Coverage: short staffed
  • Number of Physicians in Practice: 2
  • Will Other OB/GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates: Yes-2 providers and then share call with the Center for Family Health
  • How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 2.5 FTE in the clinic
  • Number of Exam Rooms: 10
  • Onsite Lab & Utrasound: YES
  • Support Staff: RNs for intake, MAs, CSR (front desk support).
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
  • Trauma Level 2
  Required Procedures:
  • Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.)
  • High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.
  Labor and Delivery Required Procedures:
  • Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
  • Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
  • VBAC's
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
  Gynecology Required Procedures:
  • Office/Minor Gynecology –IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
  • Surgical Gynecology – Open
