**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** Obstetrics and Gynecology**Job Duration:** Ongoing**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm (40 Hours) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Must be board certified or board certification eligible **Certifications:** No specific certifications required**Must-Have:** Must have expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology skills, with preferred experience in low and high-risk pregnancies.**Job Description:**- Provide coverage as a locum tenens physician due to a canceled shift from a prior provider.- Available for 24-hour on-call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM.- Preferred proficiency in performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds (Level I/II).- Manage both routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal and C-section deliveries.- Experience in handling breech presentations, multiple births, VBACs, and abruptions.- Skill in performing and repairing 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.- Expertise in both office/minor and surgical gynecology procedures, including but not limited to IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.- Ability to perform major operative procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and more.- Laser certification is preferred for relevant procedures.- Available from December 6 to December 9 for patient encounters as needed, with specified periods of on-call duty.- The facility requires an estimated credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days.
