Candidates should be comfortable with all OB/GYN procedures and responsibilities. The position involves: - Providing services on an OB/GYN 24/7 basis- Offering inpatient coverage, with available hospital staff support- Being on-call to the emergency department for urgent deliveries, including vaginal and c-section- Conducting gynecology consultations and treatments in the emergency department as needed- Diagnosing and managing conditions occurring during pregnancy through postpartum- Performing major and minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures on the female pelvis and related structures- Covering specific dates requiring service coverage, including major holidaysThe selected candidate will handle daily rounding on all patients admitted to the service and any consults received during the assignment. This position supports a private group covering for gaps and requires credentialing within 60-90 days. Expect a patient volume of 1-5 per day using the Epic EMR system.
