SPECIALTY: OBGYN- Hospitalist LOCATION: Zanesville Locums: 1099 JOB NUMBER: 47852 POSITION DETAILS: On average 11 shifts per month All Thursday nights, Friday 7am-7pm Tues, Wed, Thursday 7a-7p then Monday 7a-7p KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Attend to obstetric emergencies, perform deliveries (vaginal and cesarean), and provide immediate postpartum care. Conduct thorough assessments, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic examinations. Take Emergency Department calls for GYN and OB patients, and perform urgent gynecology consults and surgical interventions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and participate in patient education on prenatal, postpartum care, and family planning. Maintain accurate medical records and stay updated on advancements in obstetric and gynecologic medicine through continuous education. REQUIRED: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Board certification -Obstetrics and Gynecology. Ohio state medical license and privileges to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology Case logs that show experience in managing labor and delivery, including proficiency in both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
