**Job Title:** Locum Tenens Physician**Job Specialty:** Retina Specialist - Ophthalmology**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Day - 5x8, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 Hours per week**Experience:** Fellowship required, Minimum Board Certification Eligible**License:** Board Certification required, IMLC not accepted**Certifications:** BLS required**Must-Have:**- Expertise in both Surgical and Non-Surgical Ophthalmology- Proficiency in Non-Surgical/LASER procedures and Cryotherapy- Experience in Anterior and Posterior Segment procedures- Required skills in YAG, Phacoemulsification, Extracapsular, and Intracapsular Extractions- Experience in Vitreo retinal procedures and Intra-ocular injections- Skilled in Ultrasound Interpretation (A and B-Scan), Photos, Fluorescein angiography, and Optical coherence tomography interpretation- Required skills in Refractive Surgery: LASIK and Keratectomy (PRK or radial)**Job Description:**- Join a busy ophthalmology practice with a well-trained support staff.- Handle 25-28 patient encounters per shift.- Orientation consists of one full 9-hour day with IT support.- Position located near a major airport for easy travel.- Participate in non-surgical, surgical, and laser ophthalmology procedures with a focus on anterior and posterior segments.- Perform required ophthalmology studies and procedures efficiently.- Ideal candidates will have significant experience in their specialty, fulfilling necessary licensure and certifications.
