Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Otolaryngology Job Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm (40 Hours) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Board Certification Eligible Certifications: None required Must-Have: General and Surgical Otolaryngology skills, Endoscopic procedures, Flexible and Rigid Laryngoscopy, TracheotomyJob Description:- Position involves 3 clinic days and 2 operating room days per week.- Work half-day shifts on Fridays.- Participate in 7-12 days of office call and 7-10 days of unassigned emergency department call.- Perform bread & butter ENT procedures (e.g., Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy, insertion of ear tubes).- Engage in 3-5 patient encounters per shift, in a department with 10 beds.- The facility requires physicians to be board certified.- Required skills include general and surgical otolaryngology, endoscopic procedures, septal work, sinus procedures, flexible and rigid laryngoscopy, tracheotomy, and general head and neck procedures.- Preferred skills include septal, sinus, thyroidectomy, extended parotidectomy, radical neck surgery, and complex head and neck procedures.- Credentialing process is estimated to take 60 days. Note: Fellowship of 2 years is required, and Pediatric Level 1 specialization is available.
