**Job Title:** Pathologist**Job Specialty:** Pathology - Anatomic and Clinical**Job Duration:** One week (January 20-24, 2024)**Shift:** 8 Hours, Day**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum years of experience not specified**License:** Board Certification Required**Certifications:** - ACLS- BLS- Other certifications as specified**Must-Have:** Board Certification**Job Description:** - Solo practice with grossing required- Daily volume of 10-15 cases, primarily small GI biopsies- Notable focus on GYN pathology and approximately 1 cancer case per week- Very rare after-hours call; no weekend call- Opportunity to consult with pathologists via courier service located 45 minutes away- Access to tumor boards and breast pretreatment conferences for CME- The facility does not have a trauma level designation or pediatric level- Facility offers a range of specialty skills, preferring candidates with expertise in: - Surgical Pathology - GI, GU, and Neuropathology - Dermatopathology - Hematopathology including bone marrow and lymph nodes - Cytology, both GYN and Non-GYN - Pediatric tumor pathology - Autopsy, both forensic and non-forensic - Performance of FNAs and grossing or cutting frozen sections - Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, and Blood Bank
