**Job Title:** Pediatrician**Job Specialty:** Pediatrics**Job Duration:** Full-Time**Shift:** Days 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with evening and weekend call**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Illinois license (or willing to obtain)**Certifications:** ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications (or willing to obtain)**Must-Have:** - Board Eligible (with plans to be Board Certified within one year of employment) or Board Certified in Pediatrics- Willingness to attend deliveries- Clean malpractice history preferred**Job Description:**- Attend high-risk and c-sections deliveries to ensure newborn health- Provide outpatient pediatric care, including well-check visits and routine newborn care- Work with a team of two full-time physicians and support staff, including a shared receptionist and one RN/MA- Average of 15-20 patients per day, with 10-20 well-check visits- No inpatient pediatric unit onsite; responsibilities are limited to nursery care- Perform as needed in Nursery Level I and Nursery Level II/NICU (or equivalent)- Ability to perform circumcisions is preferred but not required- Use Cerner for documentation/EMR- Participate in a 1:3 call rotation, which is generally light- Not accepting candidates requiring visa sponsorship- Must not have any malpractice cases that are in probate or require supervision**Compensation and Benefits:**- Competitive compensation with a two-year guarantee, followed by transition to wRVU Model- Relocation assistance if applicable- Paid time off annually and one week of CME during the two-year guarantee- CME Allowance- Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, retirement plan with company match- Malpractice coverage including tail coverage
