**Job Title:** Locum Tenens Pediatric Emergency Physician**Job Specialty:** Emergency Medicine - Pediatric Emergency Medicine**Job Duration:** Ongoing, starting January 2, 2025**Shift:** 4 PM - 1 AM (primarily evening/nights)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Preferred PEM fellowship trained; will consider board-certified pediatricians with emergency department experience**License:** Missouri license highly prioritized**Certifications:** - PEM: PALS required- Non-PEM: PALS and ATLS required- ABLS, ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS**Must-Have:**- Experience with trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, and procedures**Job Description:**- Provide pediatric emergency care in a Level 1 Trauma facility- Handle patient encounters of 14-18 per shift- Work collaboratively in a department with 13 rooms and 3 hall beds- Candidates must be board certified or board eligible- Support services such as anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, and more are available 24/7- Manage cases involving newborn deliveries and work with a Labor & Delivery department- Provide coverage for 15 shifts per month- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
